Every New Day is a Gift NOT a Given Right

You heard this before, I know you have. Have you stopped to think what this really means? These are not just empty words. There is a message here for all of us, for all humanity. My intention with this blog is that you not only read it but really pay attention to the words and think about your actions towards these words. Say it outloud "Every new day is a gift, not a given right!'

Write it down, read it daily if you must. But please embrace the fact that you are one of the lucky ones that get to see tomorrow. We live in a beautiful planet, called Earth. Which we must love and keep safe. We are here to love not destroy. It starts by loving ourselves! When you wake up in the morning are you grateful for the new day? Are you ready to confront what the day brings to you? OR do you Dread getting up in the morning. Getting out of bed. Do you feel your life has no purpose. Are you not motivated? You probably fall into either one of two categories:

1- Grateful and motivated or
2- Mi…

Detox from Judgement

Awhile ago now, I was lucky that a great friend of mine shared Gabby Bernstein’s Spirit Junkie course with me which helped me to deal and detox from judgement. But what does it mean to 'detox' from judgement? Judgement is a bad habit we all have, unfortunately. I learned through this course how to kick this habit. I am sharing this with you so keep reading. Keep this in mind, we tend to judge ourselves a lot and we are also hard on ourselves.
Judgement is a habit and happens when we separate from love. Unfortunately no matter how amazing and good of a person you are, you judge. We judge ourselves and we judge others.
There are exercises you can do to cut loose from this habit, takes practice and commitment but definitely can be done. The key is to first recognize the thought, then forgive yourself for being judgemental, ask God or Spirit to reinterpret the thought, turn it over to Spirit, back to love. Of course there are more details involved but I won’t get into that right no…

Be The Best YOU Every Day :)

I have been thinking of ways to help you achieve your everyday goal to be the very best you can be all the time. It is a challenging one truth be told. Many of you may not wake up every morning feeling great and happy. Sending love to yourself and others or affirming you will have a great day.
If one thing you take from this blog I hope it is this, “ Positive thoughts = Positive results”. I can not stress enough how life changing it is when you get this into your morning routine. Wake up, say thank you for a new day, love yourself and send love and blessings to all and your day ahead affirming that this is going to be an amazing day. Look for the positive and beautiful things that surround you. It is so important to take care of yourself and your needs. When you do, you are in a much better place and mindset to take care of others that need you.
I have written many blogs on self help and I hope you go back and read them over and over. I am sharing with you what works for me and I am liv…

How to Keep Fabulous!

Hello all!
They call it “Beauty sleep” and it really is! Getting seven to eight hours sleep daily is key to waking up feeling energetic and well rested.
In dry climate is very important to keep your skin moist and there are a variety of  daily moisturizers out there that will do the trick and you don’t have to spend a lot, unless you can and want to. Many day creams come with SPF which is my next point here WEAR SUNBLOCK! Do you want age spots and wrinkles before your time?… didn’t think so.
Wash your face morning and night even if you don’t wear make up. This is important to remove dirt, pollution and pore clogging oils.
When it comes to eating… vegetables, fruits and avoiding fried foods is always best! Also, daily multi vitamins are a good addition to our diet. Exercising is great as it increases circulation and it can reduce stress :).

The Signs of Love are all Around

The other day was my son's Confirmation and we had close family come visit from afar to share this very special event in my son's life.
The next day I was at work, for those of you whom do not know I work at a school in a classroom. The children were working on an activity and as I was overseen the progress in their work I stood there in the corner in the classroom and thought about how great it felt to have spent that time with family and how much I had missed them.

It was just a thought and I felt a bit  sad though not showing it.
All of a sudden a little boy got up from his chair and ran to me to give me a hug! Let me tell you that this particular boy does not give me daily hugs.

I felt so overwhelmed and right away I recognized that this little angel in my class was guided by spirit to let me know I am loved and I am never alone. It made my day but only because of my open-mindedness I am able to see the signs that show up for me everyday.

My intention with this blog is fo…

My Blog on Chakras

You might ask yourself what is a Chakra? So here I will give you as much information as I can. I am still learning about Chakras, all seven of them. It is fascinating. I read this book Healing Chakras by Ilchi Lee and here are some facts you will love to know a bit more about.  But first allow me to share a quote with you:  " The part can never be well unless the whole is well" ~ Plato
By the time you finish reading this blog you will understand why I chose this quote for this article.  The word chakra in Sanscrit translates to wheel or disc. Chakras are energy centers in the body. Have you ever thought of yourself as an energetic being? Our bodies are composed of cells, which are composed of atoms and those atoms are made of Energy!
A Chakra is a " hub" in which the energies of mind, body and spirit are intertwined and sent through the meridians (network of pathways) that run through our body for use in our daily life. Each chakra governs a specific kind of energy relate…

My Top 5 Tips to a Happier Life

Here are my top 5 things I do that changed my life!
1- Gratitude 2- Self love 3- Forgiveness  4- Open mindedness  5- Saying No
Let me explain :): Have gratitude in your heart for what you have and the good people in your life. When you do this daily, you realize even more how lucky you are and start counting your blessings. Positive feelings take over your body and mind leading the way to a good start of your day.
To have self love is to accept yourself with all your flaws and to understand that you are human, you will make mistakes and You will learn from them. Do not be hard on yourself. Life is a school and you are a student. When you love yourself you open your heart to love others. Love is a magical thing and we are all deserving of love.
To forgive not only others that have done you wrong but also forgive yourself. This is key to happiness. Forgiving those whom have done you wrong doesn't make you weak it makes you free! Without forgiveness in your heart you hold a grudge…
